1. Registration

If you haven't registered your User Name please click on New User Registration. You will need a User Name and Password before you can login to the UVC application.

2. Download and Install UVC

*If you are using a proxy, proceed to section 3 and use the Java WebStart version which was designed to detect proxy configurations

** UVC is a Java based application and requires a Java Runtime Environment Version 1.3 or higher to be installed on your computer.

3. Java WebStart Version (This section only applies if you do not wish to use the Full Install Version of UVC)

UVC is a Java based application and requires a Java Runtime Environment to be installed on your computer. If you have Mac OS 10.1 Java Web Start should already be installed on your computer. If you do not have Java Web Start installed click on the link below and follow the steps on the screen provided by Sun Microsystems.

Java Web Start Installation

If you have already registered your User Name and Password and have Java Web Start installed on your computer (either by having it already in your OS ie: Mac OS X, or you have installed it) you are now ready to run the UVC program. Simply click on the button below to launch UVC.

As an alternative to installing Java Web Start and running the full UVC application, you are able to run only the UVC Messenger module directly from your browser. To do this please click here to launch UVC Messenger in the browser.
